Why West Palm Beach?
2TON is a Delray Beach based agency, created from the 2018 merger of two creative houses (from Delray Beach and Palm Beach Gardens, respectively). Maintaining our southern location in Delray Beach, our team recently opened a second agency location in West Palm Beach, not far from CityPlace and the Kravis Center.
This new location, affectionately dubbed “2TON North”, allows for more efficient servicing of accounts in West Palm, and an opportunity to meet new clients from the area.
Housed within a vintage warehouse building alongside Grandview Public Market (the popular food hall in West Palm Beach’s Warehouse District), 2TON shares the north office space with VXIT, our sister company who provides professional IT and consulting services. Within the same building, and just around the corner is “The District”—a coworking space with a hip, industrial motif which houses the 2TON conference room and office space for several of our 2TON project managers.
In contrast to the 2TON space in Delray Beach, which features bright white walls and banks of tall windows, the “2TON North” main space is a different sort of creative experience. The environment’s character is in line with its origins as a warehouse, and it exudes an unfinished, industrial look with hard-worn cement flooring, rough open-beam ceilings and exposed pipes. A large interior kitchen space, packed with refrigerators, microwaves and espresso makers, is flanked by bar-style countertops—perfect for impromptu creative huddles.
The majority of designers here work within a square “office” in the center of the space, defined by metal & cement support posts with walls comprised of raw wooden pallets. Breezeway openings on two sides allow for foot traffic and skateboard fly-bys. Ping pong, bumper pool, weights and a video game setup are just a few of the distractions for those seeking “creative enlightenment”.
Though the architecture may appear simple or “rough” at first glance, the contents—a dozen or so bright-eyed creatives—are anything but. Fueled by a stream of coffee and tacos (and poke bowls, and ramen, and…) from neighboring eateries, the North team is a capable and fiery bunch, and proud to call their unique diggs within the warehouse district “home”.
